Helen Elbourne Crenshaw, passed away on April 24, 2019. Born February 5, 1931 in Valletta, Malta. Mrs. Crenshaw was a founding member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church since 1962. She was a devoted Eucharistic Minister that also ministered to the sick and home bound. She was an active member of the Council of Catholic Women, Saint Clair Circle as well as a CCD Teacher. She enjoyed participating in Bible Studies, Prayer Groups and loved to attend the Catholic Charismatic Conferences. She was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was a prayer warrior for many. When asked what she’d like to be remembered for, her response was; that she loved God, loved her Church, was a very active member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and that she tried to show God’s love to those she met.
Mrs. Crenshaw was predeceased by her Husband, Billy Jack Crenshaw. She is survived by her 5 children, Beverly Mills (Robert), Brad Crenshaw (Kaye), Brian Crenshaw (Florence), Ben Crenshaw (Cindy), and Barbara Lesso (Mike); 20 Grandchildren, Travis, Kim, Kenny, Stephen, Brad, Jr, Blake, Brennen, Beth Ann, Jonathan, Jason, Joshua, Harrison, Cory, Amanda Lee-Anne, Amanda, Christopher, Malarie, Michael, Lauren and Greg; 24 Great-grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley, Taylor, Dustin, Amber, Haley, Landon, Tripp, Makayla, Sampson, Layla, Alen Jr., Dalton, Lily, Averie, Dylan, Curran, Blace, Maddox, Jack, Major, Parker, Michael Jr. and Vincent Jr.; 7 Great-Great-grandchildren, Rhett, Titan, Gracen, Elijah, Peyton, Colt and
Jackson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Chapel 729 Edgewood Avenue South Jacksonville, Florida 32205 from 6:00 – 8:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 8523 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32221 on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Hardage Giddens Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy
Boulevard Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
