Helen R. Crawford

As a young adult Helen move to Florida in 1946 and had a long career at Kay Jewelers. Later co-owning Crawford Optical in downtown Jacksonville with her late husband, H.W. Crawford. She was also a member of Southside Baptist Church. After retiring, Helen spent most of her time in Jacksonville. She enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family. Helen was dearly loved by her family and everyone she ever met.

Helen is predeceased by her loving husband, H.W. Crawford; son, Steven Cook; brother, James Mathis; and sister, Dorothy Aitken.

She is survived by her son, Patrick Crawford; daughter, Cathy Smith; grandchildren, Noah Crawford, Jessica Cook, Mandee Markey, and Ashlee Smith; great-grandchildren, Addison Markey and Chandler Markey; and brother, Johnny Mathis.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019 in Restlawn Memorial Park, 2600 Ribault Scenic Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32208.
