Helen Mary Bunnow, 65, passed away on October 20, 2015 at her home in Jacksonville, FL surrounded by loving husband and family. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on February 23, 1950 to the late Joseph Ralph and Helen Marie Blankenheim Wodushek.
Helen, “Mom” and “Grandma” was kind, loving, giving, considerate, fun-loving and friendly. She loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was the Eucharist Minister at St. Matthews Catholic Church and was a devoted servant of the Lord. She was a dedicated supporter of the Knights of Columbus. Helen graduated with an Associate’s Degree from Jones College as a Medical Assistant and worked as a Medical Assistant for 17 years and as a bookkeeper for 7 years at Jacksonville Pediatrics. She enjoyed doing family genealogical research at Ancestry.com.
She is survived by her husband Thomas who was married for 26 years. Helen is survived by her son Paul Andritsch (JoAnne) and grandchildren – Justin; Alena and Logan; her daughters Clair Bunnow and grandchild Michael; and Christina Bunnow. “Grandma” has a total of 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Her dear siblings are Bob Wodushek (Kathy); Joseph Wodushek (Kirsten); Sylvia Schwister (Al); Kathy Horton; Chris Wodushek (Wendy); brother-in-law Ron Neuman; step siblings Joseph Sevenich (Christine); Barb Schauer (Tom); Emily McCan and Sister Rose Sevenich.
Helen is preceded in death by parents; her step father Joseph Sevenich; her brother Ralph Wodushek and her sister Beverly Neuman.
The family will receive friends and loved ones for a memorial service on Tuesday, November 3 at 11:00 am at St. Matthews Catholic Church, Blanding Blvd. The inurnment will be at Riverside Memorial Park at a later date.
