Harris Stanley Mitchell, 85, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born January 1, 1933 to Dillard and Donia Mitchell in Alma, GA. Harris worked at Parkhill & Goodloe for over 45 years. He loved to go fishing as well as working in his yard. Harris is preceded in death by his wife Patricia, his son Ralph, his brothers Gordon, Guy, Donald, sisters Emma and Audrey. He is survived by his sister Myrtice Andrews, nieces and nephews Annette, Linda, Christine, Angie, Joyce and Darrell. Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home is serving the family. A visitation for friends will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 9am-10am at the funeral home. Funeral services to begin at 10am with interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
