Harold Theodore Davidson

Harold Theodore “Dave” Davidson, 88, of Deland, FL passed away on April 30, 2014. He was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late Walter and Margaret Sorensen Davidson. Dave was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and retired from Dow Pharmaceuticals after 25 years of service. He was a member of the Church of Our Saviour before moving to Deland to be closer to their only child. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Verna Dinkins Davidson; beloved daughter, Kimberly Suzanne McLaughlin (Gregory); cherished grandchildren, Bailie Elizabeth and Connor Edward McLaughin; brother, Jack A. Davidson (Vivian); along with other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2014 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin with visitation from 12:30-2:30 p.m. prior to the service. Internment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Macclenny, FL will follow.
