Gregory Anthony Lawrence Sr., a devoted veteran, faithful servant of the Lord, loyal friend, and beloved husband to Fe Lawrence (66), peacefully passed away on January 28, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication as the cherished brother to Linda Gooden and Clarence Lawrence Jr. and beloved father of Gregory (47), Karla (45), Devon (39), and Joshua (35). Known affectionately as GG, he played a vital role in the lives of his 9 grandchildren, and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, leaving behind memories of joy, guidance, and warmth.
Gregory Anthony Lawrence Sr. served his country with honor, demonstrating unwavering dedication during his time in the military. His commitment to service extended beyond the uniform, as he devoted his life to spreading love, compassion, and the teachings of the Lord. A true pillar of strength, he exemplified faith and kindness in every aspect of his life.

A visitation for Gregory will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Legacy Lodge, 4801 SAN JOSE BLVD, JACKSONVILLE, FL 32207. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM. A committal service will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
