Grace Naomi Best Musulin was born June 10, 1933, in Beaver Falls Pennsylvania. She was the 8th of 9 children of Lewis and Amanda Best. Grace graduated from New Brighton High School in 1952. After graduation she went to work for Bell Telephone, and in 1965 transferred to Jacksonville Florida, where she retired after 38 years in 1989 which was then called AT&T. Grace loved traveling making many trips home to Pennsylvania to visit all her beloved brothers and sister. She loved music and dancing, sewing and crocheting. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church for almost 60 years. She loved her Lord, and she loved her church. She was a lifetime member of the Navy Wives Clubs of America #300 and an active member of The Lake Shore Woman’s Club. But the true joys of her life were her daughter, her six grandchildren and her 12 great grandchildren. Her beautiful blue eyes and sweet smile will remain with us forever.
Grace is survived by her daughter, Terry Laws (David); son, Mickey Musulin; grandchildren Naomi Laws, Salena Laws, Thomas Laws, Lucas Laws (Jordan), Ginny-Kate Laws, and Chuck Musulin. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Elizabeth Best, William Best, Jesse Best, John Best, Dolly Peterson, and Howard Best.
A visitation for Grace will be held Monday, August 14, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM.
