Grace M. Milligan

Grace Mosely Milligan, age 85, passed on Sunday, November 3, 2013. Grace was born on September 9, 1928 in Macon Georgia to Von and Thelma (Broome) Mosely. She is retired from the Friday Musicale and was a current member. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Nile. Grace was a Christian and an active member of Murray Hill Baptist Church. Grace was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Cecil Milligan on October 3, 2013. She enjoyed listening, playing, and singing classical and religious music and spending many hours raising beautiful flowers. Survivors include daughter Cheryle Touchton (Bob); son Vaughan Milligan (Louise); four grandchildren Chris Touchton (Whitney), Kelley Pekarek (Erick), Jim Milligan ( Lauren), and Bill Milligan; six great grandchildren Noah, Ava, and Ella Touchton and Abigaile, Frederick, and Georgia Pekarek; three sisters-in-law Anarece Touchton, Lola Mae Wright, and Harriett Milligan; two brothers-in-law Warren Milligan (Sandra) and Robert Herrington. Grace was known as Ginny by many children. Family will receive family and friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesday November 5, 2013 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Murray Hill Baptist Church, 4300 Post Street with Dr. Doug Axtell officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park located at 7242 Normandy Blvd. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Hardage - Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
