Grace Charlene Mattox, age 63, passed away in Pensacola, FL on May 30, 2024. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 26, 1961 to James Vincenzo Sciabica and Isabel Selner. She married Harry Stuart Mattox on October 6, 1991.
Grace had a real talent for art, gardening, decorating and she also loved to shop.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Herrin and son-in-law, Clinton Herrin; sons, Micheal Westerwelle and Joseph Westerwelle; sisters, Dorothy Hickey, Anne Anderson, Isabell Alexander and Florence Francis; brother, Bruce Sciabica; and nine grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, James V. Sciabica and Isabel Sciabica and her husband, Harry S. Mattox.
A visitation for Grace will be held Monday, June 10, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5752 Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32244. A committal service will occur Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park.
