Geraldine Gurr Jordan, 82 of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012 at home. She was born on November 24, 1929 and was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville. She was employed by Westside Toyota for 19 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Geraldine was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Molly Gurr, Sr. and her youngest brother Mitchell Gurr. She is survived by her son John Mitchell Jordan, (Ruth) of St. Augustine and two grandchildren, Jennifer Kathleen of St. Augustine and John Mitchell Jr. of Orlando, her brother Frank Gurr Jr. and her sister Marjorie Bailey (William) and her nieces and nephew, Temple, Bill and Amy Bailey as well as extended family members. Arrangements entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 11:00 am at Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers will be accepted at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home.
