Gerald Martin Sohn “Gerry”, loving son of Gerald Sohn and Phyllis Sohn, has passed away. He was born on May 10, 1970 at Baptist Hospital on the South Bank. He attended Montessori School, Jacksonville Country Day School, Episcopal High and Jacksonville University majoring in History and Political Science. While at Episcopal High, he played saxophone in the band was a national merit semi-finalist. His Bar Mitzvah was celebrated at the Etz Chaim Synagogue and was upon his passing, a member of the Temple Ahavath Chesed. Gerry had many friends and a younger brother, Bobby.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 26th in Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Cemetery with Rabbi Matthew Cohen of Congregation Ahavath Chesed as Officiant.
