Gerald "Jerry" David Gauthier

Mr. Gerald "Jerry" David Gauthier age 63 of Jacksonville died November 11, 2013. He was born in Canton Connecticut and raised by Edward and Faye Pelham. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Leslie Norman Gauthier, Children Chris L Gauthier, Sandi C. Tanner, Chantelle Norberg, and Troy Stringer and also his siblings Wanda Wood and Cyndi Pelham Hanner to join his brothers Levaughan Treakle, Donald C. Gauthier, and Albert Gauthier. Jerry was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping with his family and piddling. He couldn’t sit down for one minute whether he was out in the yard or down at the thrift store he had a new project in mind daily, and he did all with a Coke in his hand and a cigarette in his mouth. He always seemed to have the answer to everything and could fix almost anything he may have been the very definition of “Jerry rigging.” He was a proud hard working man with a big heart and a will of steel he always left an impression on anyone he came in contact with.

A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday November 16th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ronald T. Giddens Life Celebration and Event Room of Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Chapel 729. South Edgewood Ave. Jacksonville, Florida.
