George R. Schroeder Sr., of Jacksonville, FL. passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014. He was a member of American Legion and VFW organizations. He worked for Maxwell House Coffee for 20 years as a Plant Engineer. He also served our country as a member of the United States Marine Corp. He is survived by, his son George Schroeder Jr. and daughter Donna Owens. He had two grandchildren; Jason and Jacob as well as a loving sister, Robyn Malnati. He was predeceased by his wife; Shirley Schroeder and his son, Paul Schroeder. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 6-8pm, location at Greenlawn Funeral Home 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL. 32207.
