Geneva Rosa Bent, age 78, passed away January 10, 2017, in Jacksonville, Florida. Geneva was born in Hillard, Florida on April 4, 1938. She was a member of Paxon Revival Center since 1983 in Jacksonville, Florida. Geneva was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and she will be missed by those who loved her dearly.
Geneva is preceded in death by her husband Donald T. Bent; they were married for 44 years. She is survived by her children Michael Bent, Vernon Bent (Brenda), Cynthia Cooper (James), and Donald Bent, II (Heather); grandchildren Kyle Bent (Lindsey), James Cooper, JR., Chloe Cooper, Makayla Bent, Madison Bent, Gracie Bent, Makenna Bent, Michael Bent, and Maggie Rosa Bent; and great-grandchildren Angelina Cooper and Haley Bent.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 11:00am at Paxon Revival Center, 5461 Commonwealth Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32254 with Pastor Steve Dobbs officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 6:00-8:00pm at the church.
