I just found out about the passing of Gary. I remember him so well when we lived next door to each other. My heart goes out to you for your great loss. I will always keep Gary in my thoughts and prayers. Carol Rausch, Cumberland, Rhode Island

I just found out about Gary's untimely death. I went to college with him in Wyoming in the early 80s. When five of us had been taken to jail for streaking commencement, I called Gary (he was having a party, of course). When I said, "It's Rosemary," he didn't miss a beat. "How much do you need?" He passed the hat and bailed us all out that night. He left an indelible mark on our lives and my memories of him always make me smile.

I still can't believe Gary is gone... Godspeed Gary.

Gary- we didn't know you long but you certainly had many friends. I remember you as always smiling!

It's tough not seeing him around! Was at the Rooster the other day. Kept looking around imagining him still there in his usual spots! Miss ya my friend! my uncle Gary, i might not have been with him every day of my life but i did know him good enough to know he was a great person he could always lift the mood of every 1 around him he was always a happy person who looked at the best in everything. people might argue he was not a saint but i would be honored to become half the man he was and that is a goal in my life. I was at the Jacksonville service and it was so special.  Gary has so many friends that love him. He touched so many lives.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

The Audette Family. I worked with Gary and his brother at Rhode Island Cable Television and, in the early 80's, we shared in the brotherhood of "door to door' salesmen. It was humbling and taught us all the skills, loyalty, sacrifice and teamwork to be successful salesmen. It was the profession we chose and Gary excelled. Along the way, we all learned something else, as well. Sales is a difficult and noble profession with the greatest reward realized when "serving others" in their pursuit of happiness. The gift to make their dreams come true. On earth, Gary created a great deal of happiness and joy for those he served and befriended. In heaven, may he be rewarded with eternal life and joy.

To Bob,Joan,Dori,Lisa,Robin, and all of your family my deepest sympathies got out to you. Gary was a great person and most gracious friend, i will miss him dearly. His smile, his thoughtfulness, his humor, his great attitude toward life, and his friendship will always live in a special place in my heart.

I just read this announcement or I would have been at the calling hours. I'm so sorry for your loss.  I  recently met you at the Village Bean in North Scituate.  Gary and I graduated from high school together.  He's been on my mind lately because he tried to teach me to ride his bike when we were 17 (his Suzuki 185), and I just recently went for my license at 55.  I thought he would get such a kick out of that. Just seeing his picture
brought back such fond memories of his smile.  Gary was a great kid, and you are such lovely people.  You will not grieve
alone.

My sympathy to Gary's family and close friends. I only met Gary briefly through my daughter. When we met over a year ago we chatted for awhile. Our common bond was Rhode Island and my french ancestry from Pawtucket, RI. He had a wonderful smile and friendly nature. My daughter met Gary when she didn't know many in FL as she just moved here. She loves motorcycles and did ride at one time. He asked her if she wanted to go for a ride. I think that says it all about the kind of person he was. I believe he was a very caring person. May his family find peace in knowing that he touched many lives.
