Frederick "Fred" Walter

Frederick “Fred” Charles Walter, 56, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Fred was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on February 28, 1956. He had worked for Swisher International for over 25 years. Fred enjoyed the fall season and this gave him the opportunity to get in some deer hunting. He was a generous and giving person. Fred was a loving husband, father, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. He is survived by his loving wife of 21years Sharon Walter, sons Kevin Walter, Randy Payne, Jr., daughter Allison Turner (Jeff), brothers Ken and Michael Walter, sisters Doreen, Heidi, Wanda, grandson Lance Turner, and several nieces, nephews, and many, many friends. The family will receive friends at Hardage-Giddens Hendricks Avenue Chapel, 4115 Hendricks Ave on Friday, November 23, 2012 from five o’clock in the evening until seven o’clock in the evening. Funeral services will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, November 24, 2012 in The Oaklawn Chapel. Entombment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Hardage-Giddens, The Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Boulevard is serving the family.
