Freddie Lee Brown Jr., 55, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014 in Orange Park, FL. He was born August 1, 1958 to Freddie and Ruthie Mae Brown Sr. in Jacksonville, FL. Freddie graduated from New Stanton High School in 1976 and was a workaholic but he was very much family oriented and a very kind and giving person who offered advice to anyone who wanted or needed it. His favorite football teams are the Oakland Raiders and FSU. Freddie is preceded in death by one brother Allen Brown and one sister Felicia Brown. He is survived by his wife of 18 years Adell, four daughters Tameka (Titus) Foster, Frenika Brown, Niska Hudson, Meltonia (Edward) Parker, one brother Reginald Bailey, two sisters Charlene Bailey, Valerie Foster, 12 grandchildren, Tonyae, Kenneth, Ashae, Keyonna, KyWan, Titus Jr., Jerahmy, Jeremiah, Nyvorii, Jerrod, Zaria, Tyler and three great-grandchildren, Xiomara, Amirah, and Shawn Jr. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11:00am at the Bethel Baptist Institutional Church, 215 Bethel Baptists St., Jacksonville, FL 32202. A repass will follow at the church after the services.
