Frank Edward (Ed) Parrish, Sr., 89, went to be with the Lord and Savior on May 10, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Hafling Parrish, of 62 years. They have three sons, Frank Edward (Eddie) Parrish, Jr., (Vivian), Jimmy Parrish, and Tommy Parrish (Sheila); five grandchildren Heather, Brandon, Lindsay, Blake and Reid; and 3 great grandchildren. He served in the navy for 2 ½ years. He worked with the youth at Woodlawn Baptist Church. He attended Westside Baptist Church and was a deacon/ Emeritus. He served on the Jacksonville Fire Department from 1/5/48 to 5/27/80 and retired as Assistant Fire Chief. He served as Fire Chief for Orange Park from 1980 to 1986.He will be deeply missed by all, but know he is at home with Jesus, standing tall with a clear mind.
