Frank was a truly good guy, one of those who was truly a good friend.  We spent a great deal of time during our youth hitch-hiking around the are to go to movies and to the public to swim.  Over the past several years we have stayed in contact by telephone and traded memories.  Truly one of the "good people". He will be remembered by those he touched.

Frank was a great mentor to me during my entire career at CSX.  I will never forget being shocked when he stayed with the railroad while the rest of us began a new journey when the group was sold along the way.  So tickled when he later returned to work with us.  We owe so much to Frank.  Thank you Shirley and family for sharing him with us and for opening your home to us at the holidays. Peace be with you all.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. 
I met Frank in 1985 when I interviewed for a job at CSX (Cybernetics and Systems Inc.) and always found him to be a man of integrity and high character, and overall a genuine gentleman.  During the 8 years I worked at CSX, I learned a great deal from him as I was a young college graduate going into corporate world, so I will forever cherish those memories.   Although I had not worked with him in the last 25 years, he has always been in my thoughts... 
I can only imagine how huge of a loss the family feels, but I'll continue to keep the family in my prayer, and hope that god gives you the patience and strength to deal with the loss.  The genuine love that everyone always felt toward Frank is just one indication that he is in heaven and resting in peace.

Sorry to hear of Frank's passing.  I have good memories of him over the many years we worked together on student loans.  He was easy to get along with.  He was helpful and friendly.  He always took an interest in us.  I enjoyed chatting with him and talking sports, particularly about the Louisville Cardinals or about MLB.  It was a pleasure to have worked with and known Frank.

Dear Shirley, Linda, Carol and family,

We were so sad to hear of Frank's passing.  We have not been in touch in a long time, other than with a Christmas card, but we have such good memories of times past with you all.  Frank was one of the nicest people you'd want to meet. God bless you and comfort you as only He can.

We are so saddened to hear of Frank's passing.  We enjoyed many years working with Frank at Nelnet and always enjoyed seeing and catching up with him in the neighborhood.

I was so saddened to learn of Frank's passing.  He was a great boss and a truly wonderful and caring person.  He gave me my first Stuart Woods novel and now every time I read one I think of Frank.  My prayers and thoughts are with the family.

My condolences to the family.  Frank was a great boss - you could tell how much he cared for his people!  He was sorely missed when he left.  My thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I will miss seeing Frank. I honestly can not remember a single time that he wasn't there by your side. He will still be with you in spirit, until you are united again.

Shirley, Carol, Linda and Family:

My mom just told me of Frank's passing. I'm so very sorry to hear this.  I truly loved being around him when Carol and I were in school together. Y'all were like my second parents!  He was just a great man and so personable.  Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
