Frank Leo Arzie Jr.

Frank Leo Arzie Jr., 82, died Aug. 11, 2010. He was born on Sept. 1, 1927, in Jacksonville, where he lived his entire life. Mr. Arzie served in the U.S. Navy and was the owner of Bud Arzie Builders Inc. until his retirement several years ago.

He was preceded in his death by his parents, Frank Leo Arzie and Kate Arzie; brothers, Lawrence Arzie, John Arzie and Billy Arzie; sister, Lucille Franklin, all of Jacksonville, and son, Frank Leo Arzie III of St. Augustine.

He is survived by his sister, Peggy Harris of Jacksonville and his children; Vicki Lynne Martin, Mark Lawrence Arzie, both of Jacksonville, Budd Wendell Arzie of Robertsdale, AL., and Teresa Stone Irwin (John) of Lake Butler; 10 grandchildren: Justin Brice Arzie of MS, Matt James Fowler (Shuen) of NY, Staci Michelle Cologero (Joe) of Jacksonville, Dylan Cody Arzie of Robertsdale, AL, Tyler Stone, Tristyn Denise Stone, Tori Rachel Furukawa, Taylor Marie Furukawa and Travis John Irwin all of Lake Butler; and Megan Nicole Arzie of Jacksonville, and great granddaughter, Sophia Lynne Cologero of Jacksonville.

An avid fisherman, his children will hold a private burial at sea at a later date.
