Flo was born in Jackson TN. She loved to sing and she would sing on the Radio, and at Weddings and Funerals as well as in Church.
Flo met her husband John when they both worked at Kroger Grocery. They married in October 1951 and they had two daughters Marjorie and Marcia. Flo started her career with J C Penney in 1963 in Baton Rouge, La and was transferred to Jacksonville, Fl in November 1970 as a Buyer and Manager over ladies fashions
Flo has been a member of First Baptist Church since November 1970. She loved her Church, Pastor, Sunday School class and many friends. She loved to sing about Jesus and Heaven.
Flo was preceded in death by her husband John Parish, daughter Marjorie Parish, son in law Homer G Lindsay III, father Charles Russell, mother Ollie Russell, 3 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her daughter Marcia Lindsay, 2 sister in laws and 1 brother in law, nieces, nephews and many loving friends.
