Eunice May Thomas

Eunice Thomas, 84, has left to join her savior, Jesus Christ. She is rejoicing with her beloved husband, Arthur C. Thomas, Jr and her loving mother, Estelle Nichols in God’s comfort. She passed on September 6, 2014. She is survived by her doting sons, AC Thomas III(Barbara), Alan Vinacke (Michael), Dennis Thomas(Susan), her loving daughters, Linda Thomas Edenfield (Darryl), Edna Evans, Denise Thomas Edgy (Stan). two dearest sisters, Pat Wachendorfer, Jewel Blackwell (Walter), Eight adoring grandchildren: Tonya Thomas, Angela Thomas, Robbie Maxey, Ricky Maxey, Cecil Thomas, Clay Wright Wendy Bashnan, Christy Martin, Four treasured great-grandchildren: Shane Graham, Devin Maxey, Rebecca Martin, Nicholas Martin, a host of extended family and friends; plus her precious Shih Tzu, Barney.

Jacksonville was her home for over 50 years. She was the matriarch of our family, President of Linda Thomas All-Stars, Captain of her Navy Family and Master Chef in her Kitchen. Her gracious smiles and loving ways have embraced many friends and family. The family will receive loved ones Wednesday, September 10, 2014 6:30-8:30pm at Hardage Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, (904) 781-9262. The funeral will celebrate her life Thursday, September 11, 2014 11:00 am at Evangel Temple Assembly of God, 5755 Ramona Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
