Eloise J. Congdon, 83, passed away September 15, 2011. She was born November 2, 1927 in Live Oak, FL. Eloise is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, William E. Congdon of Jacksonville, FL; her children Constance Annette Blount of Jacksonville, FL, James Roger Blount of Tallahassee, FL, Steven Craig Congdon of Jacksonville, FL, and Bertha Lynn Foy of Green Cove Springs, FL; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her brothers Hinton Johnson, Jr. of Alpha, FL and Bobby Johnson of Live Oak, FL; her sisters Barbara Ross of Mayo, FL, Betty Campos of Jacksonville, FL and Faye Bourdon of Live Oak, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 – 10:30am Saturday, September 17 at Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd N. Funeral service will follow at 10:30am Saturday, September 17 with Pastor William Keyser officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice of NE FL, 4266 Sunbeam Rd.
