She was born August 4, 1954 to Loy and Ada Knowles in Plant City, FL.
She was a crossing guard for 18 years with Duval County Schools, and was much loved by all her kids.
Ellen enjoyed going to the beach, her grandchildren, and she especially loved roses.
She also dearly loved spending time with her family.
Ellen is survived by her mother, Ada Ballard; daughter, Sheena MacNulty (Daniel); her sister Carol Keene,
her brother Renus Knowles; and grandchildren Bryce Martin, Taylor Martin, and Anna MacNulty.
She is preceded in death by her father Loy Knowles; stepfather Marion Ballard; and daughter Chantel Martin.
A visitation for friends will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 6-8pm at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home,
7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will be held on Saturday March 5, 2016 at 11am with interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
