Elizabeth Rowland, age 84, born January 2nd 1937 with great joy is now and forevermore celebrating in Glory with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Elizabeth was ushered by a host of heavenly angels and welcomed home on Sunday, December 26, 2021 where she temporarily leaves her sons Michael and Danny, their wives Carol and Laura, grandchildren Christina & Matt, Christopher & Camielle, Andrew and great granddaughter, Nailah Marie and another small blessing on the way.
She shall best be remembered as having a serious yet funny sense of humor who went out of her way to help others. She proudly loved her family and church. She especially enjoyed traveling and was blessed to see many of God’s greatest masterpieces such as the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Hawaii and Alaska.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 8 at 3:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park (Graveside), 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32205 with committal services to follow. A Celebration of Elizabeth will be held on January 8, 2022 with her family and friends following the Funeral and Committal services at Rolling Hills Baptist Church at 4:30 PM (EST).
