GARTNER Elizabeth Ritchie Gartner, 69, passed away on September 20, 2019. She was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan, but considered Jacksonville her home after residing there for over 40 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, was a talented cook, loved music and theatre, enjoyed needlepointing, playing mahjong, and was a member of the Jacksonville Jewish Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Gartner, her parents, Mansfield Ritchie and Florence Johnson Ritchie, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Samuel and Clara Gartner. Survivors include her two daughters, Tiffany (Mehdi) and Jennifer (Garrett); grandchildren, Kaden and Laith Hassan; her sister, Ruth Ann VandenBurg (Mercer); her two sister-in-laws, Linda Ginsberg and Karen Watzman (David); a brother-in-law, Brian Gartner (Cheryl); nieces and nephews, Leslie Platock (Brian), Marc Ginsberg (Jill), Tracy Bever (Scott), Michael Gartner (Andrea), Alexis Gartner, Jessica Watzman, Allison Watzman, Amanda Kulikowski (Piotr), Paige VandenBurg (Caroline), and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
