Elizabeth Ann Ashton, age 81, passed away on September 22, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on December 3, 1933 to Lenard Ambrose and Ruth Cameron Ashton in Jacksonville where had been a resident until her final years splitting her time between Dalton, GA and Jacksonville.
Prior to retirement she served as Clerk for The Board of County Supervisors in Citrus County Florida for over ten years. She was a graduate of Landon High School in Jacksonville.
Survivors include one son, Robert Michael Donnelly (Teresa) of Jacksonville, FL, three daughters, Kelly Elizabeth Donnelly of Dalton, GA, Tine Colleen Wasil (Paul) of Jacksonville and Ruth Bertine also of Jacksonville. She also is survived by her sister Susan Ashton of Patterson, LA.
A graveside service will be held on Friday September 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Rev Randall Quinsenberry officiating at the Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery.
