Elizabeth Bennett Alderman, our devoted and beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, completed her lifelong journey on March 13, 2017. Born April 15, 1919, in Hopkins, Florida, to Harvey Eugene and Martha Emma Bennett, Elizabeth was predeceased by her two brothers, Harvey Jr. and Lesley, her husband of 38 years, James Edward Alderman, and her son, Steven Eugene Alderman (Mary Jane). She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Henderson (Randy), her sons, James Jr., Joseph (Marsha), and David, her grandchildren Randy Henderson, Jr. (Suzanne), Natalie Brooks (Halston), Amy, and Emily, and her great-grandchildren, Aiden, Tristan, Trey, Amelia, Hudson, and Bennett. She will be remembered for the many caring things she did, but especially for the countless hours she spent making sure that her family had the very best that she could provide. Her loved ones will say goodbye and honor the many wonderful memories of her in a private ceremony at Riverside Memorial Park, where she will join her parents, grandparents, brothers, and husband.
