Eileen C. Gardner

Eileen Chirico Gardner, 60, a resident of Jacksonville, FL. passed away on August 22, 2013. She fought a tough battle with frontotemporal dementia for 8 years. She was a teacher’s assistant for over 25 years in Palatka, FL. and made a difference in many student’s lives. She would always help a student in need and was always ready to give a hug when needed. She will be missed by many and remembered by even more. Eileen is survived by her husband, Jim Gardner, her children, Shelly (Lou) Fields, Ernie (Jenny) Chirico; grandchildren, Madison Eileen Chirico, Jonathan Fields, Nathan Fields, Gianna Chirico, and Rosalyn Chirico; brother, Joseph (Patty) Sweetman and many nieces and nephews and other beloved family members. Eileen will be cremated and her ashes spread in the place that made her the most happy, the beach.
