Edith Lemons Ridley, passed peacefully away on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011. Edith was born on August 8th, 1919 in Bluefield, WV, to Fleming and Dora Lemons. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Ridley; brother, Roy Lemons; sister, Estelle Reeves and grandson, Mitchell Ledbetter. She is survived by her brothers, Rusty (Barty) Lemons, Ralph Lemons; daughter, Sandra (Warren) Ledbetter; sons, Larry (Cheryl) Ridley, Jerry (Lynn) Ridley; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 12th 2011at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd. with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park. Family members will greet friends on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. This kind and gentle lady will be deeply missed.
