Edith Marie Perry, age 80, went to be with the Lord on July 27th 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on May 4th 1937 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of the late Robert Raymond Jesse Law and Eva Marie Combs Law. Edith held a Bachelor's of Science degree. She retired from the US Post Office as well as the Department of Social Security. She worked many years in real estate and continued to work at Vicar's Landing until the week she became ill. She enjoyed going to the beach and picking up seashells, as well as visiting St. Augustine. She also enjoyed crafting, listening to 50s music and the time she spent working at Vicar’s. Edith was a born again believer in Jesus Christ and had a collection of over 50 old Bibles. She had a miraculous personality and was a wonderful soul. She had an upbeat attitude and was very lovable; she never met a stranger. She was a terrific woman in every way. Edith is survived by her sons, Louis (Mary) Ent and Jordan (Debbie) Ent.; daughter, Juanita (Johnny, Sr.) Gibson; grandchildren, Johnny Gibson Jr, Amber Gibson, Robert Shane Gibson, Brandie Gibson, Dana Gibson, Brandon Lawter, Melissa Ent, Louis Ent, Daniel Ent, Michelle Ent, Shannon Lynn Ent, Nadia Usher, Jerry Usher, Sean and Danny Wozniak; great granchildren, Johnny III, Jesse, Abbie, Grace, Aaron, Aarissa, Austin, Adrian, Ione, Axel, Rhys, Dylan, Kaitlyne, Kiersten, Lucas and Liam; brother, Robert (Kim) Law. Edith was the beloved family member of Ryan Gibson, Gerald Gibson, Jennifer Barker, Brittany Mordoff, Ada Law, Alara Law, Shawna Lane, Reikia Blakely. She was preceded in death by Ashley Ent (2016); granddaughter, Tammy Ent (2002); and grandson, Larry Gibson (1995). A Gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, July 31 from 5 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 6 p.m. in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
