Dorothy Mae Teague

Dorothy Mae Teague, age 82 of Jacksonville, Florida passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2015. She was born in Jacksonville on January 22nd, 1933 to the late Olen and Emma Sorrells. Dorothy was one of a kind, a gentle soul, a generous spirit, a true sweetheart that would light up a room when she entered it. Dorothy will be remembered as a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Sherry (Keith)Segars, Terry (Rick) Calvert; two sons, Donnie (Tia) Teague, Mike (Tony) Teague; and her beautiful daughter, Debbie Lyons who proceeded her in death in 2005. Six grandchildren, Kalin Calvert, Ashley Lyons, Mikie Teague, Dallas Teague, Amy Carter, Buddy Teague and eight great grandchildren. Also Terri Abdullah has been a special person in her life as well.

The family will receive friends at Hardage-Giddens, Hendricks Chapel from 5pm until 7pm on Tuesday March 17, 2015. Funeral services will be held at the graveside at 3:00p.m.on Wednesday March 18, 2015 at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida with Reverend John Cain officiating. The family will be receiving friends immediately following the services at The Calverts home at 2090 Green Heron Point, Jacksonville Beach Fl. 32250.
