She was born January 20, 1936 in Clearko, West Virginia. She was a
homemaker, faithful wife and loving mother.
Family members include Rev. Johnny Jr., Pastor Anthony, Yvonne,
Charri and Crystal. She is predeceased by her husband, Johnny Carter.
A visitation will be held from 5-7pm, Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Hardage-
Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd N.

Home going services will be held at 10am, Monday, April 8, 2013 at the
First New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 4835 Soutel Dr., Jacksonville,
FL 32208. Interment will follow at 1pm in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Truth Baptist
Church, 1221 Shackleton Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32211 per Mrs. Carter’s
request.
