She graduated from Fletcher High School and proudly worked for the late Congressman Charles E. Bennett until he retired in 1992. She retired from the Government after 23 years.
Donna loved her family, The Florida Gators, traveling, dancing in the kitchen, and music of the 60's and 70's, even attending many concerts with her late husband, Butch and Best friend, Denise.
She is predeceased in death by her husband Corben "Butch" Weldon,Jr., her Father John W. Rand III, and brother John W. Rand IV.
Those that survive her include her Son John Weldon (Missy); Daughter Allison Hayes (Chris); Mother Alice Rand; Grandchildren, Amber Richter, Brandy Richter, Alyssa Hayes, and Corben "Corey" Hayes; Greatgrandchildren, Aaron Thigpen and Corbin Henderson; Mother in law Vera Weldon; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to her nephew Johnny Rand for always being there to help his Aunt Donna with anything she needed.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 09, 2021 at 12PM at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North.
The family will receive friends at 11:00AM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church 601 Airport Center Rd. E. Jacksonville, FL 32218 or The American Heart Association.
