
I would like to extend my sincere and heartfelt condolences to Donna's immediate family. Donna is my sister, and I will miss her very much. I know her family will miss her greatly as well. Her husband, Howard; son, Donald; daughter, Kandy; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Amber.  

I spent many of my vacations visiting with Donna and her family, and I will hold all those memories in my heart. 

Donna loved kids, and spent so much of her life taking care of children who belonged to other people, in addition to caring for her own. She cared for many foster children through the years, and then began a daycare, where so many of the children, after growing up, remembered her fondly.  It takes a special kind of person to be able to do this with the love she showed those kids.

She sang in her church choir for a while, and I was privileged to hear a beautiful solo she sang when I attended her church one Sunday. 

When I saw Donna in the Spring of this year, I told her that everything would be ok, no matter what. I believe that, and I know she's in Heaven now, with her oldest son, Rick. 

We will all miss her with all of our hearts, but we will see her again someday.
