Prior to retirement Donald was a Store Manager for Publix for over 30 years. He was a graduate of Englewood High School in Jacksonville, FL. Don had served his country in the U.S Amy National Guard.
Donald was predeceased by his mother Nettie Ogburn Hackley.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Hackley and his father Alfred Hackley. One son, John Michael Hackley (Angela) of Frankfurt, Germany. Two daughters, Stephanie Hackley of Orange Park and Miki Lu James (Dell) of Dallas, Texas. He also leaves his sister, Rebecca Muench (Bruce) of Jacksonville, FL., two brothers, Martin and David both of Jacksonville, FL. Also mourning his loss are his three grandchildren, Aaron, Ryleigh and Hannah.
A Graveside service will be held on Saturday June 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, Florida.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery.
