Don is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Beverly Seymore, his sister Marcia Solecki, his four children; Allen DeYoung, Ladonna Chavez, Dianne DeYoung, Marcia Lewis, and five bonus children; Timothy Seymour, Tracey Hensley, Trecia Walker, Trena Pigney, Tina Kendrick and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family.
Don proudly served his country for 20 years and retired from the United States Air Force after which he spent another 20 years in civilian occupations. He graduated from Jones College with a bachelors degree in Business Management. Don was preceded in death by his first wife of 31 years, Lillian (Holt) DeYoung. He later found the second love of his life Beverly Seymore who spent 18 devoted years by his side. Don enjoyed watching baseball, coaching little league baseball in his younger days, and was loved by those who knew him.
A memorial service and celebration of Don's life will be held December 15, 2018 at 10am at Hardage- Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service with rendering of military honors will follow.
