Dolores Gawlik Smith

Mrs. Dolores G. Smith, 90, who went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 31, 2023, was born in Highland, New York and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, FL. She was a member of Coastal Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Melvin Smith, and her twin sister, Mrs. Doris Connell.

Survivors include her daughter, Joanne (Leo) Griffis; 1 grandchild, Jennifer (Robert) Hill and 1 Great grandchild Abigail Hill as well as one brother, Bill (Joanna) Gawlik. Numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to The Gideons International.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Coastal Baptist Church, 750 Girvin Road, Jacksonville, FL 32225.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM at 750 Girvin Road, Jacksonville, FL 32225.

A committal service will occur following the funeral ceremony on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Keystone Heights Cemetery, State Route 100, Keystone Heights, FL 32656.
