

Dixie Ella Creel, 61, of Lake City, FL, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Shands at Lake Shore, Lake City. She was born on April 10, 1949 in Charleston, SC to the late James Herman Green and Rutheileen (Nelson) Green. Dixie was the Owner of Southern Arts. Dixie was a member of the NRA and the National Wildlife Association. She was an avid hunter, fisher, and a nature lover. Dixie is survived by her children, Tammy Diane Dolores of Jacksonville; Nina Carlene Creel and her fiancé Charles Mills of Yulee; Stacie Renee Temur and her husband Husamettin of Jacksonville; Charles Michael Creel and his wife Erin of St. Johns; and Justin Christopher Creel and his fiancé Amanda Jones of Jacksonville. Additional survivors include her siblings, James Green and his wife Paula of Knoxville, TN; Betty Creel and her husband Caldwell of Goodlettsville, TN; and Lee Green and his wife Ann of Springfield, TN; her grandchildren, Jessica & JT Dolores; Carrie, Ashley (D3), & Tyler Ebersbach; and Zachary & Nora Creel; and her great-grandchild, Savanna Villarreal. Dixie was preceded in death by her husband, Carl M. Creel; and her 2 daughters, Kimberly Leigh & Donna Maria Creel. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2010 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5490 CR 210 West, St. Augustine, FL 32092 Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 16 at 6:00 pm, also at the church, with Bishop David Bennion officiating.
