Diana Hail Pearce-French, 60, passed away on January 9, 2016. She received a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in criminology from Florida State University. She was an avid FSU Seminole football booster. She also served in the US Navy from 1977-1982 which included working as the private secretary for supreme NATO commander Admiral Crow. Diana became a "born again" believer January 30, 2005. She was a member of First Coast Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL where she sang in the choir. Diana was preceded in death by her grandparents.
She is survived by her father, Ray E. Hail (Marian) of New Castle, Indiana; mother, Mildred P. Hail of Fleming Island, Florida; son Hoyt Leroy Prindle III (Nancy) of Tampa, Florida; sister, Karen F. Hall (Thomas) of New Castle, Indiana; brothers, Kevin R. Hail of Chicago, Illinois and Alexander Hail of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; nephew, T. Wesley Hall (Kathryn) of Los Alamos, New Mexico; several aunts and cousins and her beloved dog Sophie.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. The Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. with Mr. Richard Edwards as Officiant. Interment will be the following morning, Thursday, January 14 at 9:00 a.m.
