Dewhitt Maddox Jr. 81 of Jacksonville, FL passed away April 7, 2021 He was born in Birmingham Alabama on September 15, 1939 Dewhitt graduated from Stanton High School and received his High School diploma. He was married to Mary Ann Maddox on September 12, 1960. Dewhitt had a career in the U.S. Army for 4 years and Castleton Beverage until retirement. He had a passion for relaxation and meditation. He is survived by Mary Ann Maddox (spouse) Daughters Angela Dee, Kimberly Hunter (Bruce) Pamalyn Baker (Alex), and Adrianne Jolly, son Demetris Maddox (Lisa), grandchildren Tracy Bryant (Kenneth), Tara Maddox, D'Angelo Stallworth (deceased), Bruce Hunter II, Camerin Hunter (Kailyn), Demetria Maddox, Markis Williams, D'Andria Brown, Treyvon Jolly, Arielle Jolly, and a host of great and great great grands. Brothers and Sisters Gloria Youngblood (Ernest), James Maddox, Lequita Ward, Sameul Gene Maddox (deceased) and Nathaniel Maddox (deceased). Funeral arrangements will be held at 11:00 a.m. April 15, 2021 at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32205.
