Dennis A Dillingham

Dennis Arthur Dillingham, age 82, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away April 18, 2017. Dennis was born May 27, 1934 in Gowanda, New York. He was the son of Fenton Willet Dillingham and Isabella Olive (Williams) Dillingham and the brother of Robert Fenton Dillingham, all who preceded him in death. He graduated from Blasdell High School in 1952 and from State University College at Buffalo in 1964. Dennis served in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960. He was a former school teacher and later became a dental laboratory owner.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 56 years, Virginia (Waldron) Dillingham, his daughters Marcia (Mark) Bonney, Roxanne (Donald) Lambert, and four grandchildren Donald Lambert, Jr., Victoria Bonney, Kathryn Lambert, and Amanda Bonney, his sister-in-law Suzanne (Green) Dillingham, and many nieces and nephews who will all dearly miss him.

Funeral services will be held at Destination Church, 88 North Arlington Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211, on Friday, April 21, 2017, with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and a service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, Florida 32225. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or The Jacksonville Humane Society.
