BROWN – Deborah K. Brown, 58, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013. She was born in Chester, PA on February 16, 1955. She was raised by her grandmother Cleo Parker and her mother Gwendolyn Parker. Deborah attended Showalter Junior High School and graduated from Strawberry Manchon High School.
In March 1977, Deborah met and married Gregory D. Brown also from Chester, PA. Deborah was a military wife traveling and stationed with her husband at Holy Loch, Scotland 1981-1983 and Naples, Italy 1985-1987 and final destination Jacksonville, FL in February 1988. She was employed at Vicars Landing Retirement Community from May 2000 until her illness would not permit her to work anymore. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 36 years, daughter Ayesha K. Davis, son Alvin L. Parker, six grandchildren Alvere Parker, Shaurice Richardson, Anthony Tate, Alexis Davis, Karina Davis, Kaloeb Parker all from Jacksonville and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial services will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at The Oaklawn Chapel. HARDAGE-GIDDENS, THE OAKLAWN CHAPEL, 4801 San Jose Boulevard, is serving the family.
