Deana M. Griffith, loving wife and mother passed away at the young age of 45 on July 4, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 12th in Jacksonville, Fl where she and her husband raised twin girls and a son.
Deana had a passion for sports and was an avid softball player and played from a young age until her passing. Her love for sports was passed along to her children, and she could always be seen at their events cheering them along from the sidelines. Also, Deana was a huge supporter of her girls in Girl Scouts, and for a number of years, you could find stacks upon stacks of Girl Scout cookies at her house, being the cookie mom for her daughters’ troop. She never missed a chance to take her girls camping, and along the way she created long lasting friendships with the moms and their girls. She was the life of the party and center of any event, always smiling and making everyone laugh and always living life to the fullest. Nothing was off limits when you were with her. She would rather be making Goetta, skyline chili dip or martinis surrounded by her friends and family than anything else. She was selfless, forgiving and ready to make you her new friend.
She is preceded in death by all her loving grandparents.
She is survived by her father, Raymond Smith (Bev Smith) her mother, Pam Reed, her husband, Malcolm, twin daughters Reilly and Whitley, her son, Logan, her sisters Melia Wilson (Greg), Trisha Guglielmi, Genelle Smith (Ahmad Shaker), Megan Smith, brother Dusty Reed and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
