David Kingston Evans

on November 22,1932 to James W Evans and Kathryn L Evans.

He passed away on Friday February 20th in Jacksonville, FL at the age of 82.

He attended Cornell University, served in the Army and spent

his career as an Insurance agent in New York and Jacksonville.

He lived in Jacksonville for over 40 years and was a member of the

Arlington Optimist Club and has always been very dedicated to his community.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather as well as an avid golfer.

He is preceded in death by his father James W. Evans, his mother Kathryn L Evans

and his wife Carol S Evans

He is survived by Chris, his wife of 14 years, his brother

Robert Evans of Penn Yan, New York ; his children Stephen Evans (Sandi),

Susan Cicchino (John), James Evans (Linda), Andrew Evans of Seneca Falls, NY,

and Mary Patterson (James).

His stepchildren Julie Miller, Rick Miller and Pamela Miller, his 7 beloved

grandchildren Angela, Andrew, Courtney, Kyle, Brady, Camden and Kaitlyn as well

as extended family and countless friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday February 24, 2015 at Hardage-

Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors for one hour prior to

the service at the funeral home. For those that prefer, memorial donations may be made

to American Heart Association.
