David Nathan (Nate the Great) Cunningham, 17, was born 5/5/99 in Jacksonville, FL at Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital NICU and passed peacefully at home on 5/21/16. Nate was a rockstar that enjoyed a variety of music from Beastie Boys and Ozzy to listening and praising with the church choir. He was happy, loving and funny, yet mischievous and uncooperative at times. Nate had a contagious smile that would light up the room and was a tenacious spirit and fighter to the end. He was a man of few words, but you always knew what he was thinking.
Tater loved fishing, four wheeling, swinging, and swimming; riding the woods in Ed-dads truck, and splashing in the waves at North Beach. He enjoyed long walks with his nurses and Riley (dawg). Nate loved his teachers, especially Mrs. Butler, and friends at school, but despised doing school work. Nate enjoyed his church families at All Souls and Church of Our Savior. He also loved time spent with family, especially his nieces Emily aka ChiChi McGee and Alyssa Lynn.
