The "Greatest Generation" has lost another valuable member.  My Uncle Dan was so much a part of my life and history. He had such a love of life, his three sons, Aunt Lois, Ms. Vivian, family and so many friends.  I bet he is already dancing upstairs.  The loss of him on earth is great but the happy memories are even greater.  I will always love and miss you.

Vivian, Skeeter to Danny, I cannot tell you how much I will miss Danny.  I loved the way he always wanted kisses from all the ladies and how much fun he was.  I always love to hear him sing "Always on My Mind" it was my favorite one.  I send my regards to you, his children and his family.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  He will surely be miss by all at The American Legion Post 137.

For my Sweet Uncle Dan words cannot express how much you mean to me I'm truly honored to call you My Uncle we shared some great times you and I one of my best memories is when you and I would go to PT & you would come pick me up in your big town care and off to nemores we would go and the whole way id say Uncle Danny do i really have to go to PT Today I so don't want to go you'd say now Sweetie Pie you have to go to your PT and Uncle Dan will b right there you'd let me know everything was going to b ok..I thank you so much i pray you always know how much you mean to me!!I will never forget you forever love you and always missed..Please give Grandma Sarah a Big Hug for Me..Rest in Heavenly Peace My Angel Uncle Dan!!!

Skeeter, I cannnot tell you how much I will miss Dan.  He helped me so much when Daddy passed with his caring and wonderful sense of humor.  He helped me so much in a hard time.
