Dana is survived by his wife Luelle Love of 17 years, daughter Danail Bly Gregory-Bamba, son Jesse Ray Gregory, brother Jim Ed Gregory, sisters Pam Broyles, Pat Tucker, Peggy Addair, and Polly Corbitt, and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
Dana was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Rae Gregory.
Dana spent his childhood in Keystone Heights, attended Orange Park High School (class of ‘78). He was a master carpenter and spent 30+ years dedicating his life to the craft, travelling the United States. His hobbies included fishing, guitar picking, tinkering with auto mechanics, and general tomfoolery. Dana was an avid storyteller, imaginative dreamer, a ramblin man with a heart of gold. His free spirit could not be caged, not even in death.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Hardage Giddens Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road North, www.hardagegiddenschapelhills.com. Funeral services for Dana will follow at 1:00 PM in the chapel.
