Cynthia, affectionately known as Cindy, began her journey in Youngstown Ohio, with parents Roger and Marjorie Young.
As the daughter of a career military father with the United States Coast Guard, moving was a part of life. Cindy’s friends were life long and she gathered them from every place she lived.
It’s easy to talk about Cindy as a part of the sisterhood because while our world was ever changing, Cindy was constant. She was our protector, our teacher, our best friend and someone we could aspire to be like. She saw the good in people and cared about the land and all its creatures. Her love for her family, friends, church and God were enormous.
Cindy is preceded in death by father Roger Lee Young of Mahoning Township, PA and mother Marjorie Hogan Young of Jacksonville, FL. She is survived by sisters Mindy and Missy, nephew Kris of Jacksonville, FL, and Aunt Marlene Wilson (Max Wilson) of Fairfield Glade, TN.
The family will be receiving friends April 7th, 2025 at 12:30 PM, at the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, 125 W Ashley St, Jacksonville, FL 32202. The memorial service will begin at 1:00 PM.
