She was born in Pavo, Georgia in March of 1942. Connie received her G.E.D. at FCCJ and was married to LaRue Hamm on June 21, 1958.
Connie retired from Florida Physicians Insurance Company. She was a member of Cedar Hills Baptist Church and loved to sew, landscape her flower beds, camp, cook, bake and spending time with family.
Connie was preceded in death by her Father Alfred McNeil, Mother Alice Nadine Medley McNeil, Sister Alice Montine Pilkinton Singletary and her loving husband Alvie LaRue Hamm.
Connie is survived by her son Randy (Debbie) and her daughters Vicky (Scott) Martin and Cindy (Randy) Branesky.
She also leaves to cherish her memory 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The Foundation of Community Hospice and Palliative Care.

A funeral service for Connie will be held Monday, March 31, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, followed by a committal service from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
